20 Question Birthday Books

 I've been working on this project on and off since Christmas and I am soo glad that it turned out so good.  I found the initial idea on Pinterest. (link down below)  I embellished the original idea by adding the little details on the intro page which says "Beginning on your third birthday, we asked you these questions every year to remember what some of your favorite things were.  Enjoy!"  I typed these verses writing them because I don't like my handwriting ;)

Here is the list of questions that will be asked every year until the kids are 18:

1. What is your favorite color? 

2. What is your favorite toy? 

3. What is your favorite fruit? 

4. What is your favorite TV show/movie? 

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? 

6. What is your favorite outfit? 

7. What is your favorite game? 

8. What is your favorite snack?

13. What is your favorite cereal?

Delayed Craftiness

 So I did this months ago...sigh I suck at blogging...anyways I got these great pictures of Zoe and her friends and I decided that they would be a great way for Zoe to see all her friends.  They only problem was in my mind I saw and awesome collage of pictures that could grow with Zoe but finding a frame that fulfilled that desire proved difficult.  I found a frame I liked but I didn't like the $30 price tag with it.  Target had a 3 pack of 5x7 frames on sale for $5 so I figured why not just glue some together and make my own collage.  My next problem was figuring out which glue would be the best to glue the frames together.  All I could find online was wood frames and wood glue and clamps...grr I found plastic frames.  I finally ended up doing a trial and error with all the glues I had on hand...Mod Podge, Tacky Glue, Super Glue and a glue gun.  The glue gun worked the best with the fastest results.

Advance apologies for any mistake I might have missed...a certain 11 month old has broken my keyboard  and I haven't gotten a new one yet :)

Yesterday we broke out an old sheet and some paint and got crafti!!

Zoe had a great time putting her hands and feet in the paint.  It was so much fun in Zoe's mind that mommy had to join her...

I'm glad that it waited to rain until after the paint had dried.  Now I have a huge sheet covering one wall in my living room...I think I might cut out the best pieces and frame them.

Upcoming Christmas Projects

I love Pintrest!!  I found these great Christmas time projects and I'm excited to try them out.

1. The Christmas Advent Calender.  It's made out of cardstock/scrapbook paper sewn onto fabric.  I really like this because I can personalize it to my family and as the babies grow so can the activities.

2.  Felt Christmas Tree.  A great idea for little ones.  I think that this project is the one I'm most looking forward to.

3.  Finger Print Snowman Ornaments.  This is pretty awesome.  These can be done as gift or for your own tree.  The kiddies can do one every year

4.  Finger Print Lights Christmas Card.  I like this but I am horrible about getting Christmas cards in the mail...this maybe a maybe this year.

Feeling Crafti

Before

The crafti bug hit me big yesterday.  I was given these awesome wooden letters when my babies were little to decorate for their room.  I had originally painted the letters and put pokadots on them....

I was on pintrest and I found the pin that showed scrapbook paper covered letters.  I was like ' OMG!! Why didn't I think of that!! '  So I found some scrapbook paper that I felt represented the babies a little bit.  I used Modge Podge to glue the paper to the letters and an exaco knife to remove the excess paper.  I'm pretty darn excited that I managed to avoid cutting myself with the knife!!

I cut the pirate ship out while the paper was on the letter...not as easy I thought...

Poor Ian has nothing else to go with his letters...I'll have to make a trip to JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby to see if I can find some pirate type wood cuts like Zoe's butterflies and flowers.
